Job Summary:
Conair is looking for an individual with experience in performing advertising and marketing copy review. Candidates will have knowledge of advertising and marketing law including claim substantiation, comparative advertising, trademark law, cause marketing, sweepstakes, and right of publicity. Responsibilities will include review and analysis of product packaging, website content, marketing and public relations materials, digital and social media campaigns, trademark research and interfacing with company personnel. This individual will be a member of Conair’s Legal Department and work closely with Conair’s in-house attorneys.
Requirements:
- College degree or paralegal certificate. Superior academic credentials.
- Experience with the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus is helpful but is not required.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, extremely well organized, able to work independently and as part of a legal team. Capable of making and advocating well reasoned decisions.
- Highly motivated, positive attitude, assertive and able to manage and complete multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities include:
